Vegetarian and Vegan

Bytown Catering has developed a whole new selection of Vegetarian and Vegan items due to increasing demand for these dietary needs. These are premium menu items, made with the same high-quality wholesome ingredients as our other items, and are specially designed to ensure your guests enjoy a superior dining experience respecting their vegetarian or vegan choices.

We understand the challenges of following a vegetarian or vegan diet. Especially for vegan meals, there can be hidden ingredients or processing of the ingredients that do not meet with these requirements. With the help of a registered nutritionist, we went through a special development cycle involving custom design, taste testing and an extensive ingredient audit to produce a variety of vegetarian and vegan menu items such as:

  • Masala lentils served on a medley of wild/brown rice and dandelion greens
  • Grilled portobello mushroom skewers with tofu, peppers and spicy peanut sauce served on Tamari ginger whole grain rice medley with BBQ ratatouille
  • Curried butternut squash and apple soup
  • Almond shortbread cookies with Villa Massa Limoncello and mango sorbet
